One more day till early voting opens

Starting tomorrow you and your neighbors will be going to the polls to cast their votes for the next four years of leadership. In a climate of distrust in politicians the information can be very skewed and it becomes easier to vote along party lines and rally.

I'd like to take this time and remind everyone that your City Commissioner election is a non-partisan election. It's all about local issues. None of your local

candidates can register as any party for this election.

It's up to you to learn which candidate you believe will represent you to the whole of the city. Tomorrow night I'll be at Southern Social by Firemaker on Bank Street at 6:30pm talking to my neighbors giving a chance to learn if I'm the one for District 3.

I believe that Griffin is a wonderful city, and worth serious attention. I think together we can make our local economy resistant to recession by making the city function for it's people and businesses. By making it easier to understand policy for everyone we can make a happier city. It seems too easy, but it's a ton of work. If it is going to happen, it has to start now.

I hope to see you at Southern Social to learn how to move forward with confidence, together.
